Background

Boney Mountain stands at the northern end of the Santa Monica Mountain range separating Newbury Park from Malibu. Boney Mountain House Concerts take place on the Newbury Park side at the Brandick residence at the foot of the mountain.

Outstanding artists from across the U.S. are invited to play for a small invitation-only audience. The audience serves as patrons of the arts pitching together to compensate the artists who perform in an intimate setting. Think of it as a 21st Century version of the Renaissance with a potluck appetizer and dessert buffet.

The first series of concerts commenced October 18, 2008 with a show by Steph Johnson, a wonderful singer/songwriter out of San Diego. Since then we have hosted some of the best artists in the LA area. Starting 2010, we will host four concerts per year, one in spring, two in summer and one in the fall.
